Annette Klein, German General Consul, will introduce the poster exhibition on “Women in STEM“ globally with a talk on gender disparities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, a field where women account for less than a third of researchers. On loan from the German Consulate, the exhibition presents the portraits of 24 global pioneering women scientists and engineers whose life and work has played a central role in science, but has remained largely unknown.
