• Cosponsored more than 100 events in the past five years

• Developed faculty interest in two research foci: women, gender and violence initiative and women in science and engineering
• Conducted a successful 7th year CWGS program review, 2013-2014
• Increased WGS majors to 48 and Certificate earners to 30
• Established 2.0 fully online B.A. degree program in WGS
• Introduced a new course: WST 3106: Introduction to Global Diversity
• Created a new course: The Global Scientific Revolution and Its Impact on the Quality of Life (IDS3212/IDS3212L); Fulfills a Global and UCC requirement in Physical Sciences
• Initiated a Women’s and Gender Studies Essay Writing Competition for Dade and Broward County High Schools
• Cosponsored the annual GeekiGirls conference for middle school girls (>400 attending)
